Contrary to what bookshops and even its own publisher, Planeta Cómic, say, this book is not a graphic novel but, well, an anthology. Mostly short stories, mostly autobiographical — but not all. Más mujer is a chapter of Morder la manzana by Leticia Dolera and Raquel Riba Rossy. Por una falda de plátanos is a collection of fragments from an essay by Almudena Grandes rather than a complete one. And Soledad is an illustrated song by Amaral. Of the complete stories, my favourite is Mzungu.

Voces que cuentan

  1. Julio by Julia Otero and Ada Diez
  2. 24 horas by Lola García and Agustina Guerrero (La Volátil)
  3. El bicho by Diana López Varela and Akira Pantsu
  4. Auctoritas by Estefanía Molina and Ana Oncina (Croqueta y Empanadilla)
  5. Soledad by Eva Amaral and María Hesse (El placer, Malas Mujeres)
  6. Más mujer by Leticia Dolera and Raquel Riba Rossy (Lola Vendetta)
  7. Pasos de tortuga by Sandra Sabatés and Sandra Cardona
  8. Por una falda de plátanos by Almudena Grandes and Sara Herranz (Todo lo que nunca te dije lo guardo aquí, La persona incorrecta, La mujer rota)
  9. Mzungu by Patricia Campos and Sara Soler
